Therefore, I will try to build some basic patches that can work with the music I like. However, I did buy the RP as a standalone unit for those rare occassions when I get to play with other people. Maybe some other occassional effects besides the ones in S-Gear. The RP could give me a wah, volume, and some optional effects such as a drive or a compressor. I was thinking that I don´t need a ton of effects, and S-Gear seems to be quite a nice sim, and especially with the IRs. #Digitech rp500 patch library manual#View and Download DigiTech RP350 user manual online. 24-bit AudioDNA helps the DigiTech RP50 and RP80 Modeling Guitar Processors create the. Guitar effect patches for the Digitech RP50 and RP80. ![]() I am going to try out S-Gear soon, maybe in a month when I actually have some free time. Basically start with amp cab and some reverb and build from there. It was on the axe fx, but you can use that formula. But some advise that Scott Peterson gave regarding doing your own preset was pretty good. Of course changing cabs out can be tone changer as well. I move Flangers and Phasers and EQs around the chain depending on what I hear when I want something like that. Guitar >wah >compressor>overdrive /distortion>Amp>Cab>Chorus>Delay>Reverb. That being said, depending on what sounds you are looking for, I like to start off with this type of chain in mfx box: ( you can move things around, but I like to start off this way ) i typically like the time based effects after the amps and the compressors, OD, wah, etc, before the amp. I always had not so good results when doing it from complete scratch as well. ![]() Click to expand.I always like the factory presets as a starting point. ![]()
